Jesus begegnet einem Gelähmten

Archaeological discoveries in Capernaum, however, reveal that the houses were made of rough basalt without mortar, and they could not support more than a thatch roof. The sloping roof consisted of wooden cross beams overlaid with a matting of reeds, branches, and dried mud. It had to be replenished and rolled every fall before the onset of the winter rains. It did not take a jackhammer for the men to break through the roof, and it could be easily repaired.

Now, in these roofs, there was a door, which they call "the door of the roofs"; now when they had brought up the sick man to the roof of the house, by a ladder fastened on the outside, which was common; they took up this door, and let him down in his bed into the room where Jesus was: and because they wrenched the roof door open with violence, therefore it is said, and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay: opening the door, and perhaps taking up the frame of it, and removing some tiles about it, to make the way wider, they let down with ropes, the bed, and the man on it, together.

Die Ausbildung kann heute beginnen, wenn Du ihn aus tiefem Herzen bittest, Dein Leben neu zu gestalten, indem Du ihm in allen Dingen gehorchst. Er wird Dein Herz weit und liebevoll machen, er wird Dich lehren auf Gott zu hören und ihm zu vertrauen. Er wird Dein Mitleid mit verlorenen Menschen groß machen. Dieser Prozess wird Jahre dauern und nur funktionieren, wenn Du ihm gehorsam bist. Er wird von Dir verlangen, ihn an die 1.Stelle Deines Lebens zu setzen… wenn Du das tust, wird er Dich verwenden um das Sinnvollste zu tun, das man auf der Erde tun kann: Mitzuhelfen, dass andere Menschen Vergebung von Gott erhalten!
